Make Me Smarter #17

Make Me Smarter #17: Unlike most snakes, anacondas give birth to live babies as opposed to eggs.

Anacondas aren’t like the typical snake for plenty of reasons, including the fact that they can grow up to 30 feet in length and can weigh up to 550 pounds. Another noteworthy difference? Unlike most other kinds of snakes, anacondas don’t lay eggs but instead deliver live babies. They birth up to 40 snakes at a time, each around two feet long.
