Personally, I think she’s pretty hurt and pretty mad with Brett, and she’s potentially holding onto something (such as an example or two during their long time together) that would clash with what she’s said. For example, perhaps there was a time when Brett has shared or demonstrated the kind of behaviour that she’s defending him from during this interview.
